mereka bukanlah payung
meneduhkan raga ketika hujan
nampang saat musimnya datang
dibuka hanya karena temaram

bukanlah mantel jas warna-warni
melekat erat bagai tak mau pergi
teman sejoli kala mentari pergi
purna tugas dilempar tak kembali

namun dia adalah hujan
menangis memberi kehidupan
terbahak memberi teguran
membumi memberikan pelajaran

Selamat memperingati Harimu wahai para Pendidik bangsa
ikhlas baktimu bagai tak bermuara
terima kasihku tak kan sempurna
hanya banggamu akanku pada akhirnya
